Finance Manager-Tunis

SPE Capital is a leading Private Equity firm with a specific regional focus on the MEA region, with offices in Tunis, Casablanca, Cairo, Abidjan and Paris. SPE Capital was previously the private equity arm of Swicorp, a leading financial services company active in MENA since 1987.

The new Finance Manager will join SPE Capital’s Private Equity team and will be involved in all financial responsibilities. The selected candidate will be based in Tunis and interacting with SPE Capital’s Cairo, Casablanca, Paris and Abidjan teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Quarterly Financial Reporting:
  • Provide essential support in the preparation of fund quarterly financial reports, including financial statements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage Fund Finance Administration Relationship.
  • Act as a primary liaison and coordinator between the fund and its finance administrator, maintaining a strong working relationship.
  • Ensure seamless communication and coordination to enhance the efficiency of financial operations and reporting.
  • Assist in Fund Audit Process.
  • Play a pivotal role in assisting with the fund's audit process by organizing and providing necessary financial documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate a smooth and successful audit, addressing inquiries and providing accurate information in a timely manner.
  • Review Affiliate Financial Statements and Audit Coordination.
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of the fund's affiliates' financial statements.
  • Coordinate and manage the audit process for the affiliates,
  • Streamline Reporting Procedures.
  • Help in continuously evaluating and refining financial reporting processes to enhance overall reporting efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and automation where applicable to optimize reporting procedures and save time and resources.
  • Cross-functional Communication and Support.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, including investment, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment in financial reporting and compliance efforts.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

  • Master's degree in finance /accounting
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of professional experience in audit or transaction services advisory
  • Strong finance knowledge, analytical capabilities, modeling and presentation skills
  • Manage multiple priority effectively.
  • Fluent in English, French; additional fluency in Arabic is preferred
