Impact & Sustainability Senior Manager
Noura joined SPE Capital in 2020 as an Impact & Sustainability Senior Manager after four years of consulting in international development and sustainability.
Previously, Noura served as Project Manager at Institut du Développement Durable et des Relations Internationales (IDDRI), an environmental think tank based in Paris, where she contributed to IDDRI’s efforts to assess and communicate the current state of knowledge regarding financing and implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Prior to that, Noura held program management and coordination positions at the Earth Institute in New York City, Conservation International, and the Pew Center on Global Climate Change (currently known as C2ES) in Washington, DC.
Noura holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in environmental science and policy from Columbia University in New York City.

Stéphane Heuzé joined SPE Capital in 2020 as a Managing Partner, based in Casablanca. Prior to joining SPE Capital, he was CEO of Wendel Africa in Casablanca, from where he spent 6 years covering Africa, where Wendel invested over $1bn between 2013 and 2020. He began his career with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Paris, until 2005. From 2007 to 2009, he spent two years with Goldman Sachs in London, within the team responsible for managing the firm’s equity, mezzanine and secondary debt funds. In 2009, Stéphane returned to BCG as a founding member of the Casablanca office, covering Africa. Stéphane is a graduate from Ecole des Mines de Paris (2000) and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (2007).
Senior legal Counsel
Mona joined SPE Capital as a Senior Legal Counsel in 2019. She worked as Senior Associate at Gide Loyrette Nouel Tunis office and specializes in M&A transactions and foreign investments.
Mona is admitted to the Tunis Bar and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and LLM in Business and Taxation Law (DJCE) from Toulouse University Law School.
She speaks English, French, Arabic and German.
Principal
Ahmed joined SPE in 2020 from Ezdehar Management, where he led transactions in the financial services, transportation, healthcare and industrial sectors.
Prior to that, Ahmed was an Executive Director at JP Morgan, based in New York, where he served as a principal investor and portfolio strategist in the bank’s Chief Investment Office.
He started his career as a strategy consultant with Booz & Company’s Cairo Office. Ahmed holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from the American University in Cairo, Egypt.

Georges-Alexandre joined SPE Capital in 2020 to co-lead SPE Capital Europe.
Georges-Alexandre brings more than 15 years of experience advising and managing SMEs across Europe and Middle East.
Georges-Alexandre co-founded Colina Capital. He previously worked for AlixPartners in restructuring, HSBC in M&A and Deloitte in Audit and Corporate Finance.
He holds an MBA from INSEAD, a MSc in Engineering from École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (Arts et Métiers ParisTech), a MSc in Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and is a Certified Chartered Accountant.

André joined Swicorp in 2004 as part of the M&A division and focused on cross-border transactions in the EMEA region.
In 2011, André joined the Private Equity division as part of the senior investment team of Intaj II.
Since 2020, André co-leads SPE Capital Europe in addition to his continued involvement with Intaj II.
André brings more than 15 years of experience advising and investing in small and mid-size companies across the EMEA region.
André holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MSc in International Economics from The Graduate Institute Geneva and is a CFA Charterholder.

Mehdi joined Swicorp in 2005 , after 3 years in consulting in Paris. Mehdi led several transactions in MENA, including growth and buy-and-build plays, is a member of the investment committee and sits on the board of a number of portfolio companies.
Mehdi is a graduate from the École Polytechnique in Paris.

Fady joined SPE Capital in 2019 from Beltone Financial where he advised on several transaction including the IPOs of Ibnsina Pharma and Sarwa Capital. Prior to that, Fady interned and worked in the US and Egypt with Cerberus Capital, Novahill Partners, Axonic Capital, John Carris Investments and Royal Touristic Investments.
Fady holds an MBA and an Honors Certificate in Development Economics & Trade Policy from Georgetown University and a BA in Finance from Ecole de Glion.

Sami joined SPE Capital in January 2020 after having spent a year at Novartis in France as a corporate finance associate within its Immunology, Hepatology & Dermatology business.
Previously, he started his career at BCP Bank in Switzerland where he spent 4 years in trade finance. Sami holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc Economics from the University of Manchester.
ESG Officer
Zouheir joined SPE Capital in 2018 as an ESG Officer after spending several years conducting environmental and social consulting missions and previous to that working as CSR lead auditor for Intertek.
He started off his career as chemical lab engineer and then spent several years working as a research assistant in nanobiotechnology at VCU.
Zouheir holds a MSc in chemical and life engineering from VCU.

Mrs. Safadi joined SPE Capital in 2019, after spending more than 2 years as an investment officer at CFG Bank Private Equity.
Previously, she worked as a corporate finance and business development analyst in OCP Group and in the Real Estate M&A team of BNP Paribas CIB.
Mrs. Safadi holds a degree in corporate finance from ESSEC Business School. She is a CFA level II candidate and speaks Arabic, French and English.

Mrs. Hariz Joined Swicorp in 2006 after having spent two years teaching economics in Paris Dauphine University in Paris and then in ESC Tunis. She managed the research team at Swicorp for 4 years before becoming a member of the Swicorp private equity team. She also led several transactions in North Africa in industrial goods, FMCG and services.
Mrs. Hariz holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Economics from Paris Dauphine University in Paris.

Nabil leads SPE Capital Partners, which spun-off from Swicorp, a leading investment banking firm in the MENA region, in 2016. Nabil joined Swicorp in 2003 to set up and lead the Private Equity activity of Swicorp.
Nabil led the launch of private equity funds totaling over USD 1bn in AUM. While at Swicorp, Nabil oversaw the deployment of over USD 900m in more than 20 transactions across the MENA region.
Nabil worked previously at BCG, Honeywell and Unilever, holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT.

M Bouchekoua joined SPE Capital in 2019 after having spent eleven years as a Vise President – Finance of Swicorp.
Previously , M. Bouchekoua worked for 6 years at “Société Equipement Hydraulique – Groupe Hachicha” as Finance Manager.
M Bouchekoua has a Master degree in Accouting from FSEG Sfax and speaks Arabic, French and English.

Salma joined SPE Capital in 2017, after having spent three years as a CFO of California Gym, the leading fitness chain in Tunisia and a portfolio investment of Intaj II
Previously, Salma worked for 4 years at PwC, where she worked on transactions and audit services in both Tunis and Paris
Salma holds a chartered public accountant certificate from HEC Carthage
Investment Relationship Officer
Ms Ben Salem joined Swicorp in 2007 after a 6 month internship as an equity research analyst with a regional investment bank in Tunis covering the Tunisian companies listed on the Stock Exchange.
She started her career at Swicorp as a research analyst before becoming a member of the Investors Relations team.
Ms Ben Salem has a Master degree in Finance and Banking from IHEC and Bachelor Degree from ISG Tunis, and speaks Arabic, French and English.

Fabrice joined Swicorp in 2015, after having founded a boutique advisory firm in Central and West Africa specializing in the healthcare and renewable energy sectors. Fabrice previously worked for AIG Investments and before that as a research consultant for Frost & Sullivan
Fabrice holds a MBA from the University of Stellenbosch, an Honors degree in Financial Management from I.P.A.G. (in Paris) and a Masters degree in European Business from E.S.G. Paris
Managing Partner and General Counsel
Mr. Pontet joined Swicorp in 2007. He is admitted to the New York and Paris bars and spent ten years working for Coudert Brothers and Herbert Smith where he developed an expertise in cross-border M&A, private equity and acquisition finance. While working at Coudert and Herbert Smith, he advised leading investment firms like AXA Private Equity, Blackstone, Bank of America, GE Capital and CDPQ on various large cap private equity investments in Europe. At Swicorp, Edouard overlooked the closing of more than 30 investments in and divestements from portfolio companies incorporated in the MENA region and in other emerging markets.
Mr. Pontet is a graduate from Paris University Law School and Harvard Law School. He also holds an MBA from Sciences Po. Paris. Mr. Pontet speaks French and English.

Romain joined SPE Capital in 2017, after 3-years as a consultant at Information Services Group in UK and in the US. He also spent one year at the finance department of Veolia Transport in Paris.
Romain holds an MBA from INSEAD and a M.Sc.Eng. from Telecom Bretagne, France.
SPE Capital is expanding its presence in Egypt and is recruiting a Senior Associate or VP in its Cairo office.
The person will be reporting to the SPE partner in charge of Egypt and will mainly focus on the Egyptian market but may be involved in other markets covered by SPE in North Africa and potentially Sub Saharan Africa.
